It may not be canon l weather sealed but has a nice rain gasket at the bottom

The edges may be a bit softened but that can be fixed by lowering the aperture

Things just look weird and unrealistic but it is also found in every ultra wide angle because thats the nature of the design i believe

Only issue i have with this lens is that the optical element sticks out quite a bit and because of that there is no way to put a filter on this lens

I cut the ends with the threads off removed the center portion and soldered the two threaded ends back together
