Regardless of what the instructions say you must use teflon plumbers tape if you do not want leaks

You also must use a wrench to tighten the bolt 121 turn past hand tight

If you properly installed the flowmeter then the tank should not be leaking or emptying until the solenoid is plugged in and both the main valve to the tank and the smaller knob are turned to the left

The co2 rushes fairly rapidly keep the smaller knob no more than a turn until the flowmeter reads 2 i dont know the units
