    With a tire that is undamaged and properly mounted on the rim, most of the pressure loss comes from air migrating through the rubber sidewall, not through the inflation valve.

    It holds its reading until you release it, but sometimes you have to work to completely seal it against a valve.

    I always worry that i over fill my tires, or i worry that the pressure is too low.
