The only downside is that they don't allow much air flow, so if you're ever doing hard manual labor or physically intensive tasks in warm temperatures, your feet may overheat. I wear a regular black tube sock with these boots and my socks stay up all ... Read More

Special mention for the goodyear welt which is nicely executed (it's stepped in from the sole, making it less clunk), and a mark of quality construction.

Prime shipping on time as always. The tracker still shows them as being at customs! The boots check all the boxes. They are the only boots i buy!

It really soaks in (it's about the consistency of vasoline) the color of the leather is fantastic and the stitching really shows up well.

Cons

These are some of the most uncomfortable boots i have worn. Leather is extremely firm and would require at least one month of regular use to not cause sores. I wear 10 1/2 in red wings, but these boots were all around too big.

My issue is with the seller; if i pay for new boots i want new boots. Seems like the boots were previously returned and are probably defective. Frustrated to receive an inferior product.
