Pros & Cons
Pros
A real bargain. Works as expected. Not as many features as my original remote, but satisfactory. Minute light delay.
Compact and easy to install. Installed easily in a refurbished high end 52 fan. More cost efficient than replacing entire unit.
It speeds up or slows down the fan with the temp of the room. It keeps the room temp even. Faster in hot summers, minimum in fall and spring.
Fan controller is easy to setup and use, directions are clear. Works with a 5 wire existing controller. Only thing i don't like is that the remote takes 4 aaa batteries.
The light dimmer works also very well with a one button operation. If there was 1 simple upgrade i would ask for it's that the orange light button glowed in the dark.
Cons
It is not worth the gamble of nearly $50. The constant restoring of 4 batteries makes the control almost unusable. Tried to return the product, then got blamed for bad wiring.
Highlights
Quality
Much better than the original that came with the fan
I like that it speeds up or slows down the fan with the temp of the room
Also the product photo does not show the flow angel name and logo on the bottom of the remote that was on the remote i received
These appear to be made with the hampton bay units as the model
Competitiveness
3 speeds light dimming timer and temperture controls
I had a professional install the unit along with a new ceiling fan
