Overall a good tool to have handy. Works as advertised. It's really convenient.

Yikes, this thing smokes! This product isn't worth $1. Amazon points at a business-hours only support phone number for thermaltake warranties.

Worked great for about 2 months then stopped powering up. Did full shutdowns before powering down the dock and removing drive. Even if you've ejected the drive from the system, both drives will disconnect and you'll get the oh-so-lovely you didn't eje... Read More

Just ejecting them from the computer does not suffice. There's also the fact that it only accepts 2tb and under drives. On a new st500l after about 6 hours of use, the raw read error rate in s. Datum reads slowly.

This is the most inconsistent, unpredictable dock that i have ever used. Had the dock a little less than 2 months and used it only occasionally.

Great product to use with hard drives removed from old desk top computers to add additional storage to your current laptop or desktop

Works great even recognizes disks i had trouble with

Inserting another disk in the second slot causes the first to be ejected

Cloning the same disk using esata was almost 7 hrs

If this would have been more expensive i possibly would have not of gotten it

However for the price you cant go wrong

I got it on time and in good condition

Competitiveness

The older version had some difficulties if you mixed hdd sizes andor brands in the same docking station

I looked at a lot of options and settled on this one because i recognized the thermaltake name and trust the brand
