    From what i can tell the ceramic spheres prevent the infrared heat from penetrating the paint and heating up the masonary stucco.

    What i didn't know is that the paint has to be completed dry for the additive to work.

    Tried one gallon of this company's rc233 paint (one thick coat) on top of cheap unpainted lean to tin roof on side of my shed where i work.

    Not one drop of water condensation was on ground nor could any be felt by hand when touching bottom of roof tin.

    Dont know if this had anything to do with the successful end result but the silicone on top side was white and bottom side was dark brown.
