Pros

The layout takes some getting used to but i can already see this is a go to book. Out performs the regular version of the flavor bible by a long shot.

I highly recommend for the cook who is looking to create new flavors or to pair different ingredients that compliment each other. Very useful reference for any cook trying to use up ingredients on hand.

Navigating my way into a vegan lifestyle. For me, the vegetarian (since i am a vegan) has a competitive edge over the original. It's definitely quite a bit thicker than the original even with excluding meat.

Cons

This book is just a list of complementary flavors for use in vegetarian cooking. This reads like someone just new to vegan/vegetarianism.

A bit like a childs school project that never actually got finished. The writing where there is the slightest bit of it, is drivel that a professor in a community college would fail. This book is very overpriced.
