    Anyone who fights ptsd knows that it's the little things, a sight, a sound, a word, a scent, that can take you from what you've worked so hard to build back to what worked so hard to destroy you.

    In fact, emmeline and her father’s lives revolve around scent, specifically mysterious glass bottles holding scent papers and a mysterious machine that makes the scents.
