Pros

A short novel, perfectly timed. I love the way that this story just escalates to an epic finale. The girls behave like teenagers which adds to the excitement.

Cons

This book if full of cliches and predictable characters and plot lines. The entire setup is far too contrived, too inconsistent.

Younger ya readers are smarter than this. Easily forgetful.

The sisters need to tighten up their styles. It was difficult to differentiate between the voices of the two girls. This poses a problem in the case of twins.

The american independent spirit is dead. And that child has to get rich enough to support their parents in their old age, since apparently retirement savings and social security no longer exist.
