I adore this series a little bit different from the normal historical romance not only do our couples have their own issues to overcome when it comes to declaring themselves but they have the censure from society a censure that could result in imprisonment and shame

Oh this was fun from the first tentative meeting through the gradual friendship that develops confusing them both as each has their own unfamiliar territory to navigate

Julian thinking courtenay selfish and selfabsorbed is also a touch jealous of his freedom and selfassured nature his ability to not cringe at the judgment of others even when it brings havoc

I wasnt sure if id like this because i really didnt get on all that well with the first book and the second book while much better still wasnt great for me
