History is not my genre but mystery is. His insights make such a positive and intriguing contribution to the storyline. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns.

Cons

As i held the book it feels sticky and grimy like the cover of the book needs a good wet cloth wipe down. Author inserts biographical chunks for a few characters that just feel unnecessary. The ending is particularly disappointing.

A good premise that's just clumsily handled and not fleshed out. But it's a basic revenge story (even if it is based on a true happening) the descriptions of the violence were grisly.
