Highlights
Quality
Pay the extra for long lasting quality sprouting lids they are well worth the price
They are soaking but i get in there with the immersion blender aka boat motor and grind them up right in the alcohol
By far a good buy and a quality product
Are used plastic ones in the past ive never been real happy with the plastic
Price
I do wish the price was a little lower but these seem to be the highest quality on amazon so i guess you get what you pay for
Packaging/appearance
I use a quart size jar and place two tablespoons of seeds in the jar
The problem is the lid from ball that gets rusted not the screen
I see reviews saying that the do but they do not they are using regular ball jar lids which do rust and gets onto the screen
You dont need to open the screen lid

A lil water gets trapped in the threads sometimes

It is also easy to rinse the seeds while the lids remain on unlike my now retired plastic strainer lid that would pour the clean water out the sides as i tried to rinse the seeds

After the first couple of times i thought id try a less expensive type sprouting jar strainer lid 2pack by cornucopia brands but those did not work well at all there was too much plastic vs holes and water would not flow easily in or out

Another good thing is that the screen comes out so you can clean it as well as the grooves inside the lid
