Pros
The books seem fine although there were no bookmarks how some people got. The content is age appropriate, and my daughter (who is 6 and can read it independently) was riveted. Our 7 year old loves the fantasy and wonderful creations in this book.
The chapters are short enough that it's not overwhelming for little readers. The books have some illustrations scattered among the pages so there are some pictures to look at while reading. Since we got these books it's been smooth sailing.
Cons
These are supposedly brand new! Worst playdoh set ever. Complete waste of money. They jump around a lot.

As i stated in the review of the 2nd series, my granddaughter is very happy with the books.
Great start to a series collection as they have more sets of these books that progress with the plot/theme of the story.
Been so dissatisfied with the delivery people on several occasions that i’m about to start picking up things myself.

Super fun stories - my 5yo twin girls love these!
Her & her youger brothers loved them.
Bought for neice in 1st grade reading on a high level.
