Author respects wives tales and historic practices rather than scientific research and advancements. It seems like the book lacks credibility and makes generalizations like completely avoid instant oatmeal. These two things are irresponsible madness.

This book is for the wannabe-hippy mom. The only blurb in the book regarding vegan/vegetarians was a testimonial from a mom who used to be vegetarian, but then started to crave meat during her pregnancy.

This book is both not crunchy enough for some of you out there, but not data-driven enough for me. The book is filled from cover to cover with inaccuracies such as these. This section of the book should just be omitted.
