More about the individuals involved rather than their respective governments, the result is what one can only expect when the drama is on a human scale: treachery, heroism, deception, courage, avarice, nobility, absurdity, vision and the lack thereof.

I do understand that this book had to be vetted by the cia and so therefore it probably omits things that are still considered to be classified.

Combine that information with the names of our agents, you get a very good appreciation of the damage the moles in the cia and fbi did to our intelligence gathering infrastructure.

Reads a bit dense, like a list of things that happened, rather this a compelling narrative, but the authenticity makes up for it.
