Pros & Cons
Pros
Rex and leif are really cute characters. Rhett and link are great story tellers. Suitable for teens up to adults.
A few chapters in i find myself so engrossed and invested in the story. The lost causes of bleak creek begins with a boy running through the woods. Although the beginning felt a bit slow, the book quickly picks up pace and gets you hooked.
Cons
The author tries hard to impress but their prose just doesn't have that grit and punch that you'd expect from a real southern novel. I hated the ending.
