Pros

The movie is a tear jerker. It's tightly focused on a small cast of characters and a single, tragic incident. The movie does a great job of connecting you to the character.

Main rescuer is named aaron. It's sad what happened to john and feel bad for his family. For thrill seekers - you will not find tabloid sensationalism.

He reflects on his life and expresses his regrets as well as the things that have brought him great joy. Later, the hallucinations/visions/dreams show his deep love for his family.

Cons

The biggest flaw in this film is the lighting. The flashbacks were not used well to convey anything but were monotonous and to an extent, nauseating.

This story could be summed up in 30 minutes. After watching the movie, i still have to google it to see what actually happened.

I actually thought this was a trilogy with the descent movies and thought it would be a horror film
