Cons

Allon's character never develops; he isn't that likeable and not a good spy. The readers who read spy fiction are smarter than that. This character pours scalding tea over someone else, causing the person to scream and get burned skin.

Everything in the book is supersized. A lot of superfluous words, sentences, and paragraphs. To counter that assumption lies with jews being the faithful and muslims being terrorists is not discourse, it's simply a laundry list.

Silva writes too fast--a novel a year--and according to formula. John grisham is a much better writer. Silva got something as basic as the mossad motto wrong.

Well researched and detailed, but essentially a 1 dimensional storyboard of bad guys versus more bad guys. Even the 'twist' at the end is underwhelming.
