It is funny entertaining but it can be saddepressing in some places when you stop to think about how you would feel if you were a child and had to live some of the moments from the book

It made me remember back in vivid detail how dirty feet and clothes felt how scorched brown rice smelled and tasted what it feels like to walk on a dirt floor in bare feet how embarrassing it was when i found out that everyone else actually wears a swimsuit

I could relate to it personally because in 1974 i knew clane whose life is the basis for the book on which the movie is based the hypocrisy of disco a memoir
