As a child i went threw a hurricane and reading this book took me back to the damage that was displayed in our neighborhood and the detail the author wrote about was spot on i could picture it as i read

The way the writer described the 3 teenagers suffering from the disfuntial family

The hurricane bringing the feather back to work with the new husband to fix the house and to take the responsibly for the divorcing the family and coming back an telling the children he was the problembefore any of them were born

However i almost put it in the discard file because the story begins with an apt portrayal of a 1718 year old that is totally not happy with his who he is
