Kids relate well to these stories of henry and ribsy. My 8 year old grandson loves these books. These books are his favorite ones to read out loud to his parents.

This is almost like when your copy machine is low on toner and half the page is faded.

The third book in this boxed set ribsy does indeed belong mostly to the dog and could almost as well have been called ribsy come home

In fact the plot belongs to the dog except for a few updates from the huggins family who resort to a dragnet and then a want ad to locate ribsy

Illustrations are modernized some adult men now have beards and kids routinely wear bicycle helmets unlike real kids of the fifties and sixties
