Excellent resource for teaching patients how to manage stress in their lives. Still learning to master this technique. Most importantly to me, it is good as a self-help resource or for practitioners.

There is not much new or exciting in this book but it is a good book to start with if you are interested in calming your mind with some breathing exercises

Its okay that they have westernized the practice of ujjayi pranayama by renaming it resistance breathing perhaps because there is a slight constriction of the throat during exhale resulting in the ocean sounding vibration that results

My patients in the psychiatric clinic that pranyama or breathing techniques are more valuable for them then the asanas meditation or chanting acquired during my classes
