It is very engaging for a 2nd grader. More than just for middle schoolers. Allows children to earn some life lessons.

Wow, what a lot of action and adventure in this rollicking tale. Clever, heartwarming, sad. This series focuses more on what happens in their happily ever afters.

Esmia the enchantress is an ex-fairy who had been on the fairy council and was the fairy godmothers heir. She plans to conquer the fairytale world and the real world as well.

Compared to evly, the enchantress is a hollow caricature. I'm sorry, but this book disappointed me. The book ends with the most pc lets just ignore common sense completely end and it is so abrupt.
