Pros

I personally bough this book to recommend it to my friend, who has always had a lot of trouble in her childhood. Short and to the point. A concise and impatful book. Author has great empathy who think back to the white spaces of their childhood.

Cons

If you want a meditation book it's a beginner's guide at best. I'm afraid that i didn't learn anything from this book and it was a huge disappointment. Read the book by jasmin cory instead.

Not helpful. I doubt this author has ever done her own work with abandonment. It's not that they wanted to be an emotionally unavailable or absent parent, some are just incapable.
