The author describes this book as a labor of love, and it shows in the quality. The book addresses mood swings from several dimensions, and offers several approaches to moderating them, with advice on how to build on and combine the approaches. All approaches require acceptance of responsibility, work, and dedication from the reader. None are magic words or transient inspiration, although the book is inspiring in its practicality and utter lack of judgement. The term workbook could not be more appropriate, as this book, like a trusted car service guide, will be repeatedly consulted rather than read and put away. The author makes materials to continue one's chosen approache(s) available for free on the Web. I hope this labor of love eventually pays off for the author as much as it has paid off for many of its readers.  Read Less
