Even though it does contain this introductory information i wouldnt recommend it for a beginner simply because it doesnt give you much guidance on how to put together an entire project

I left off one star because of the above comments as well as because 1 with the spiral binding it is sometimes difficult to turn the pages and 2 for a book that bills itself as a bible and essential reference i think it could have included more on joining making patterns and other largerscale issues
