This was a really cute story. I love candy, but specifically chocolate--dark chocolate. So when Logan talked about his idea of the bubble-tastic chocolate rocket and Phillip talked about his idea of the harmonica candy (that could actually play) I thought, Man! Those sound like awesome ideas! I'd totally try those! Plus, just all the different candy ideas that were described throughout the book were quite interesting.What I loved most about this book is the fact that the first couple of chapters were repeated, but from another person's perspective. You start with Logan and get all the background of the factory, contest, and his thoughts and fears. Then you see it from Miles eyes and understand why he talks about the Afterlife, talks gibberish (backwards) sometimes, and what's in his backpack. Then you move on to Daisy's perspective. Honestly, when I started reading Daisy's perspective, I thought she was just dreaming, but then it continued and I thought I guess this is really it and you understand why she's so bubbly and always reading her romance novel. Haha! Then it was Phillip's perspective. This showed why he was so mean, always dressed in a suit, and eventually came around to changing his mind about the factory, the other contestants, and specifically Logan.What I love about the different perspective's is exactly what Daisy was told, there's always a different side to the story. No one person knows every detail, every thought, and every feeling in a given situation or story. Even though people might be in the same exact situation, each person is so different-they feel differently, react differently, think differently than the others. So we can never truly understand another's feelings precisely, but we can empathize with them and try to understand by relating through a similar experience of our own. I enjoyed how this story showed this aspect, and tried to get the idea that there's always more than one side to a story across in a fun and subtle manner.  Read Less
