The parts written from the victim pov is in 1st person while the police side is written in 3rd

You get completely drawn into the garden and the lives of the butterflies there

Yes rape is a huge issue but it’s not very detailed and not the theme of the story

That being said as i got to the end the author throws in a plot twist that makes no sense
