The user centricity of this book is implicit. The mechanics and play by play of the journey leading up to and after the event are thoughtfully explored. This book helps explain why there’s so much more work necessary to pull off a successful event.

Excited to start again and savor it again. I now possess the language as to why the things i intuitively have done and implicitly understand are important. I hope they follow my recommendation.

It is not glib but is based on the author’s lifetime of experience in convenings. The style in which this book is written is very accessible -- it utilizes storytelling, but also gives concrete advice.

The concept and plot is great, however the author does a dull job in her writing. The word 'gathering' is used every other sentence.
