Pros & Cons
Pros
Professional photographer uses tetherpro. Works well with nikon d810. No better cord for tethering, but still expensive. Great for nikon photographers.
First impression is that wow it's sturdy, however i can see this may prove problematic moving, but we'll see. Great quality and the orange color makes it easily visible on set so as not to be tripped over. The only downside is that its a bit pricey.
Cons
These cables keep disconnecting on me even with the tether boost. The usb connector is much too large to fit in the nikon d800 usb body clamp. Even if it doesn't fall out, it regularly disconnects from the computer due to not remaining fully seated.
Highlights
Quality
Went from daily dropped connections to none and the thick cord fits into the canon cable holder with the 5ds
I just checked it and the cable does fit snuggly and it fits in the tethering bracket included with the d850
If you need a longer length it is this or the dirt cheap ones on here and i dont trust the cheap ones quality
Would have been nice if it came with the jerk stopper that i purchased separately
Competitiveness
This is the cable to get if you are tethering the fuji xt2
Works great better than other usb 3
So if you have a nikon d850 it will fit in the tethering bracket included with the camera
