So if you are planning on using this digitizer for an ipad 5 make sure to save the home button from your broken one and let me tell you that can be problematic since apple has inconveniently glued the home button ribbon cable to the glass digitizer

You can purchase a new button for the 5 but it will not have the fingerprint functionality
