The terra master f2-210 is a powerful nas. The aluminum case helps to dissipate heat. The hardware is outstanding and well-designed.
Tos (terramaster os) is user friendly. Mobile app is great! It runs a very user friendly version of linux.

Gb ram vs 512 mb on synology. The bottleneck is always the gigabit ethernet. Transfer rate from usb drive to harddrive as well as harddrive to harddrive averages around 11mp/s. It has many settings for fan speed, temperature in the control panel.

After using it for about 2 weeks it is still building the raid 5 but managed to upload about 7tb to it

By chance found a option to install manually by stopping the installer at one stage error handling could be better

The ui is nice and the nas does fit basic needs but in retrospect i either should have gotten a higherend version that gave me more control over storage
