To charge it you have to turn the speaker to the side a little and then the buttons dont line up with the leather patch

It is a bit difficult to plug cord in while still in the band i had to remove it from band first to see exactly where the socket was on the speaker then i had to open up the small buttonhole slit where the plug goes through
