The light is soft and bright, dimmable, and the remote magnetizes to the light stem. There are four; the top two are on/ off and bottom, sort of flowery circle are brighter/dimmer. We have one behind our sectional so the remote control comes in handy.... Read More

The lighting is bright without forcing you to squint your eyes. It has a wide range of brightness from very bright to just barely on. The light creates a beautiful warm glow as a secondary light source.

The remote is magnetic so i don't have to pretzel myself to point at it. I'm lucky that it is magnetic and i have a small rmetallic rolling cart near me.

Cons

Lamp is light weight, causing it to have issues being able to sit vertically on a carpeted area that was not 100% flat. Assembly is easy, but the they put tape on the styrofoam and to open the box you have tear the tape generating a ton of little piec... Read More

Just have to reduce the brightness with the remote which works perfectly

It goes from barely lit to very bright with the remote and the original battery is still working in the 2018 model
