I would say for those out there that rate this product as not meeting their expectations please know what and how these infrared thermometers are used also know the arterial system as this will allow you to take accurate temps

I contacted the manufacturer in april 2015 and explained the problem and they informed me that they would replace it

Their product ad repeatedly states that this thermometer is guaranteed but apparently that is false

It looks similar to other products but what sets this one apart is that it states to be fda compliant

However when the product arrived no where on the box or in the documentation did it state that it was fda compliant
