Pros

Tekcharge mp1580 takes 4 aa batteries and has a usb connector, so i only need the base unit and my apple usb charger cable. The more mah the battery of your device require, means more hours and more sets of batteries.

The case is small and reasonably sturdy plastic. The product is a bit plasticy, but it feels solid enough for what it does. Very, very handy for travelers.

Best feature is that it uses aa batteries. Since i cannot easily recharge built-in batteries in the field, the interchangable aas are important. I use eneloop rechargeable batteries on this mp1580 and it works.

Usually unplugging and reconnecting the device solves that.

Cons

Does not work with my blackberry bold, blackberry 8230 and pharos gps.

This product is a hoax. It is a great idea but sadly the quality of this manufacturer's attempt is lacking.

I imagine with higher quality aa you could probably get a few more hours

This difference obviously has something to do with the internals of each device charging electronics

I bought this along sanyo eneloop batteries and they works very well as a combo

I use eneloop rechargeable batteries on this mp1580 and it works

This is not a usb wall charger with a miniusb connector

The charger comes with two adapters a micro and a miniusb adapter which should match many if not most devices
