This case is similar in style to my old otterbox case so i choose it as a budget alternative for my new phone not knowing what kind of quality i would get out of it

The rubber bottom portion wraps over the edges of the front and creates a raised border around the screen just enough so that when the phone falls the screen is protected from hitting the ground

The buttons and cord cutouts work perfectly and the space for the pen is exactly the shape and size it should be i bought another case from the phone dealer store and the cutout for the pen was tiny and unworkable so that is something to check for before buying a case for a phone that comes with a builtin stylus

It looks like the plastic was molded in its color and not painted
