As a womens watch the watch face is quite a bit smaller than a males and interestingly slightly smaller than the equivalent invicta womens watch

To the right at the 4 oclock position infact it is embedded within the silver number 4 itself is the date indicator

When i first gave this watch to my girlfriend one thing she noted at a glance was that it didnt show the date shes always pulling out her mobile phone to see what date it is
