My husband and I hired Taquiza Los Chuchys for a birthday party at our home, and they did not disappoint! From the first telephone call to the party itself, they were very professional and everything you would want from a quality taquero. You actually get an email confirmation with your order, and you do have to pay a small deposit (absolutely worth it for a peace of mind, so you're not stressing whether they will show up or not). The crew of 2 arrived on time to set up and cooked everything on site. Our package came with 3 different kinds of meat, rice and beans, salsas and all the fixings, and 2 types of agua frescas. And you cannot beat the fresh, handmade tortillas--it makes all the difference! We had about 45-50 guests (they do require a 50-guest minimum), and there was plenty of food to be enjoyed. In fact, we had so much leftovers that we ate tacos for several meals after the party. They don't provide you with the containers for the leftover food though, and it's noted on their invoice; so make sure you've got plenty of your own containers on hand.
