The price was great and im not sure id receive better performance upgrading to an amplified 50 mile range antenna
For a secondary antenna the long cord and the price certainly make it worth trying out
Competitiveness
I went to best buy and purchased the 30 mile range mohu leaf and it does what this one did for me

We did have to futz a bit with placement and i was disappointed i couldnt put it behind the tv the tv is mounted on the wall and the picture got messed up when the antenna wire touched the metal

Edit i dont know where i got the idea that the adhesive would allow you to pull the antenna off the wall cleanly and position it somewhere else

Word to the wise dont adhere it until youre sure where you want it
