Also an eye opener on how people who claimed to be amish would use that claim to justify their actions even the law enforcers would turn their heads if the amish religion was mentioned

This is a very good book but very difficult to read because of the severe child abuse it portrayed even though the author didn’t include the worst things

The author is very brave and she succedes at making you aware of child abuse and the importance of speaking up if you suspect something
