We were watching tv and then out of nowhere midshow it just messed and the tv display changed from the picture to green verticle stripes

The remote is cute or whatever but the volume buttons are on the side and completely stopped working so i have to use the volume buttons on the tv instead

The remote is a total pain has been all along much of the time it works as expected then it takes several attempts to do anything and it may do things which you did not intend
