The cover over the usb/batter compartment is very poorly designed. The computer recognizes the usb dongle is plugged in, but there is no communication with the computer. They have no idea if this product works on latest mac os x.

Pawel tagus laser does not have a model number. the model number would be listed on the product sticker in the battery compartment under the battery.
