When switched off and on again it only remembers whether it was in grams or ounces not whether in micro mode or fluid mode etc

So it will always start up in either grams or ounces macro mode but thats not really an issue as a single click of the buttons will set it to the desired mode

According to the manual it will stay on for 10 mins before switching itself off

I have tested this and if left perfectly alone it will switch itself off after exactly 10 mins

However will stay in that setting if you remove some weight but simply pressing the micro button will cycle it back to desired mode
