Pros & Cons
Cons
The eye bolt that attaches the handle to the pan is of poor quality. One time used and discard. It is too small.
Highlights
Quality
Great quality already one of my favorites to use
Great quality lots of fun to use
It is cast iron construction and only has one season process applied
Cast iron actually ends up being very non stick if you let it heat up and brush on some oil before cooking
Price
Being a 30 skillet im not going to be harsh with a strong criticism and evaluation
Thatll turn this great little grille from a 30 piece to an easily 100 piece
Packaging/appearance
” ligelisi tamagoyaki japanese omelette pan” for one dollar more and they are identical with the exception of the packaging sticker
Competitiveness
The fit and finish is outstanding and possibly better than the american made ‘lodge’ castiron pans
At the same time i purchased a different brand

Quality pan and spatula and soooo much healthier to cook on than the absolute garbagepans that are coasted with toxic “nonstick” chemicals and the horrifyingly popular aluminum versions

Itll still clean up and its somewhat nonstick as long as you use oil or butter but i would prefer it to be smooth

Gave the handle a good bit of usp mineral oil ceaned the pan then fried a couple burgers and a ham steak to get a feel for where the factory seasoning was and how it heats on my gas stove

First off this castiron pan is actually made in japan
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The description claims that these pans are seasoned however it appears that it received a very thin coat and i would not rely on it for a nonstick surface on the initial use without first seasoning yourself which i did using the thin code of avocado oil and place it in a 300° oven for approximately one hour then repeat it at 500° for 20 minutes and then final coating at 300° again for the third hour…letting it cool between coats
