Pros

The iron works and so far since its arrival i have done 100% of my soldering with it. The container feels pretty cheap, but again, it does its job. Needed to upgrade my $4 iron from a local tool store.

Great for beginners like myself. Can't beat it for the price. Stand is also a bit flimsy but does its job too. Works great on an ear lobe.

Cons

After burning myself twice, the heating element in the iron is dead. The temperature control is useless and it will barely melt solder on the highest setting.

Save yourself $5 in return shipping. I'm scared to just get a replacement because i'm worried it will be the same low quality device. Could not recommend.

Did some very small soldering on an arduino project. Accessories are exceptional -- but aren't much use if i can't use the iron. The only thing this is good for is soldering capacitors and resistors.

The day it arrived i fixed some wires on a rc car motor

Contacted the seller and they sent me a new one product was still under warranty

Packaging/appearance

The plastic case was smashed up when i received it which is disappointing

Didnt take a pic of the case its just a black plastic storage box with eggshell style foam inside

I like the container it came in i can put the soldering stuff in there and i dont have to go looking for it here and there

All items were included however the storage container came without one of the clips to close it
