Quad has performed flawlessly since i received it but today only five days after receiving it one of the motors gave out

Now granted this is by no means a top dollar quad but it should last more than a few days b4 needing to start replacing motors

The motor in question when i separated the two body parts i noticed one of the wires going to the motor was sandwiched and smashed inside the round tube the screw goes through that holds the body together

I dont know if thats causing the motor not to run or if it simply gave out

If i turn the drone on without props the shaft turns so its getting power but cant handle the load of spinning a prop

Regardless of which of the two is the problem it is faulty from the manufacturer

I will not be purchasing another syma product and urge anyone considering this quad to look into other brands
