    Luckily for me im paranoid as hell and only loaded one drive at a time since the manual included mislabels the dip switch settings for normal big raid 0 and raid 1 settings

    I set the dip switch to normal mode since i have data on both drives that i would like to access individually and no operating system would recognize the device

    So reading that the normal setting i desired is the default setup of the drive i switched it back to the way it came which is what the manual labeled as raid 1 and lo the drive was recognized
