Pros & Cons
Pros
It has a warning light for overheating, and it has a clear area in the front so you can see how full the bin is getting. The bucket is smaller than we had but does that mayter? It's also fairly quiet.
Cons
Motor lugs and overheats when shredding only 4-6 sheets of standard printer paper. Dead after 2 annual uses, won't power up. Overheated and now unusable for 20 minuets and counting.
The bottom plastic bucket looks bent and crooked. Without that bucket the shredder won't turn on. The shredder is very flimsy, like a cheap plastic toy. This is the 2nd shredder that were poor quality from amazon.
Be careful not to fry yours. Do not recommend buying it. Not true. Nothing like a liar writing your copy for you.
Highlights
Quality
Have used this at least a couple dozen times and really like the quality of this shredder
Works well and takes up minimum space
A bit pricey for the size also considering the black was cheaper

I will note that the smaller bin for cds does not appear to be the shredder it expects you to use for credit cards

So you would still have to empty the larger bin of its paper shred the credit card and then empty that to avoid ruining the ability to recycle in our case in yard waste the shredded paper
